I looked it up, Indiana does use a lot of coal to make electricity. 44% in 2012. And at least at that point, for all practical purposes the rest was natural gas or oil. Maybe there isn't much hydro capability in Indiana? Though they could do solar and wind.HE DO need heat at night or the stock tank can freeze solid and then HE is farked.
They also create electricity out of hydro (water) and wind power
