Granny's gone and done it again

I can't help thinking that i should have penned her up somewhere with her babies. She really was trying to be a good momma. Not her fault it rained for a whole day, torrential downpour.
Bad flooding in Danville, where i go to shop about once a week. 4 people known dead! I won't likely go there any time soon.

did get to give Sue about 1/2 of a bottle this afternoon. Rod is doing wonders with "training" her. If you grab her front lower leg and say lift up with a little pressure she will lift and curl it so you can check her hooves/toes.

We got the new duck watering trough all set up complete with floating BUT protected tank heater. The trough is in about a 4 x 8 foot area with the east wall being the wall of the lean-to of the "goat barn" and 4 inches of Styrofoam sandwiched between cattle panel scraps and all wired together and anchored to t-posts on the north and west sides.

IF I need to we can put a "roof" over the top. and also block off part of the south facing.

Maybe. I will have to see how i feel. I hate to get him to do things with his wrist messed up. That is why i painted the roof of the shed today, to spare his wrist all that motion. Then he went and painted the trim. Took him as long as it took me to do the whole roof.

We alternate ibuprofen and acetaminophen every two hours til it breaks. Usually there’s a “soft” break where he gets clammy and feels better, but it spikes again and we have to wait for the second, real break. And if we skip a dose it goes high and takes forever to come back down. I have alarms set all night.

Maybe. I will have to see how i feel. I hate to get him to do things with his wrist messed up. That is why i painted the roof of the shed today, to spare his wrist all that motion. Then he went and painted the trim. Took him as long as it took me to do the whole roof.

that's a cuz you have to be extra careful with trim work.

well I wasn't here and then while catching up Alley posted you were having cord issues.

And yes I sort of noticed she was on during her "normal time"
