Funny thing

So brother is "communing" with curly and 2 of the other calves come up and sort of herd Curly away from the "EVIL" human. I think it was Granny's and Comet's calves.

Morning all, Been up for a while just aint moving fast.

She's about the same height as Hailey , good size for a yearling. And very calm compared to some I have. Not what I would call Human friendly BUT not out to hurt or chase human's away either.

Thats way better then one trying to gore you . LOL Im glad the others seemed to of calmed down. I havent even started to winterize the coops. Dont take much so Im not really worried about it.

All I 'NEED" to do yet before winter

Clean out the gen pop coop.

Butcher a BUNCH of old hens and some/most of the extra roo's from this year.

Get the straw packed/spread in the lean to where the ducks are and then move all the ducks from the annex up with the rest. OH and clips some of the duck hen's wings as I now have 2 "flyers"

And then give the booster shot to this years calve in a month or so.

Get the vet out for the checkup of the 3 new girls.

re-weld/fix one of the hay feeders Rod managed to break last winter or this spring.

Spread some straw in the loafing barn and a couple other places and then move the rest of the straw under cover somewhere.
