I can get a suitable van for 5K . I assume I could refuse the phone as they need house access

I can't imagine finding a GOOD used van for that price. And please take the van to a auto mechanic you "TRUST" and have them do the once over, BEFORE you buy just to make sure you aren't being taken for a ride. And that interest rate is highway robbery IMHO
