I am so sad about leaving ceramics behind. It really hit me today.
Hubby is going on about getting junk cleaned up around here, says it looks like a trailer park. He wants to get the hay loft built.
Does he not see how hard i work every day? Before i even had breakfast i was combing the dog because she is shedding.

Maybe he expects it from you because you are a miracle worker for real. He doesnt see you as tired. Time for a sit down with him and tell him how you feel

Im ok. Chickens look like they are having fun. running, playing, crowing. LOL They were in a dog kennel w/dog houses scattered about and no where to perch . They were kinda crowded too. They are in the serama coop and top of the food chain now. She had about 8 roos in there and I didnt see fighting but I think they are more comfortable here.

I think it’s a man thing. They concentrate so hard on their to do list they never notice what we get done every. Freaking. Day.

Had them in TN. I had 20+ coops of different breeds, hutches, tractors a lean-to off the garage with stalls, the barn had stalls...all with separate breeds. Sold a load of hatching eggs and hatched chicks 24/7.

@AlleysChicks Ever hear of a smooth silkie or did this woman have mutts ? I seen beautiful partridge w/ correct everything and some that had everything they were supposed to have except regular soft feathers. Not silkie feathers. I didnt see anything in the pen that could of mixed w/ them to make soft feathers.

I have a few 1st gens. Need to breed them back to a normal silkie in the spring.

Does Alley sell hatching eggs? Someone on here was looking to buy shipped silkie eggs.

I’m only getting 2 a day and fertility isn’t the greatest right now.
