Granny's gone and done it again

These are my £ coins. I kept one of every denomination in both currencies, plus any others that I liked.

It was like a crawfish. Weird to see it in Belfast. It was paella (pie-A-ya), took me this long to remember the word. I’m used to food that looks at me! I was not sure about the squid ink dumplings but when I mentioned it the groom agreed and got his own order, so I felt braver. Isn’t he so handsome! :love

England/Northern Ireland was pounds, or sterling, the £. Ireland was euros, €. I was worried but it was really easy because the paper money is stamped with values, and the coins are stamped with values. It’s just basic math after that. I did have to get help with coins because I couldn’t quickly glance and know what it was. But I never met an impatient clerk. We felt like celebrities. All I had to do was say “hey y’all” and the eyes lit up all around.
He was indeed handsome ! I hope he is a good man. Now why do I know the word paella ? Math, bleck, They could of stole me blind . Rich Americans !! Hahahaaa If they only knew hu ?

I dont know how.
You cook the meat in a frying pan with a little olive oil if needed. Use ground chicken, turkey or beef. Season to taste. I use garlic and italian spices, salt and pepper. Boil the water, pour in pasta. Cook until done. Drain. Pour the meat in with the pasta. Add any jar of sauce. Serve hot. Not so bad.

Yes, he’s SO good. Just a kind person. He always walked with me, even though I’m much slower, because DH and the bride would just take off. In London he stayed beside or behind me, to make sure I didn’t get lost or left. He was so sweet with his little baby niece, so nice to share his home with us during the wedding week. He and DH really got along well. The night before the wedding I spilled oil-based paint in their nice new car (long story) and even then he never showed a temper. We all pitched in to clean it up and he never brought it up again. This was the first time we had met him but we were just so impressed with how perfectly matched they are. :love We told the bride if anything happened and they separated, we were choosing him.
