Same here. Also one of my children may get their name changed to Somebody cause he is the one that does anything when I say "Can SOMEBODY do xyz or abc?"

Sounds like here. Some people are very capable of pointing out something that needs to be done, something they COULD do, but expect someone else, ANYONE else but them, should do it.

Either one! Though given the below, that would require your brother to travel to Florida and spend time checking things out. Based on what you posted earlier, I would be surprised if he would put in the effort. And it really isn't the financial guy's purview.

No, brother lives in the house we grew up in, near Albany NY. Mom is in FL.

I ASSUME your mother is in Florida because that is where she wants to be? Is the move based on her needing more care/oversight now than she could get at the prior place?

My mother has dementia. Because my brother didn't like the fact that i wouldn't hand over $20,000 of her money when he asked for it, the lawyers gave control of her affairs to this crooked financial advisor, i forget the term but imo he is just interested in skimming off as much as he can. My brother hates me. I used to love and care for him, since he is 6 years younger i practically raised him. It is a mess. Not much can be done without a huge legal battle.

Somebody Child went without being asked and got food and water for the chicks this morning. He is the one that does anything I ask. I ask cause I am mom and that is part of my job. Oh, and when I say ask I mean I bring up things they forgot to do as a reminder it needs to do.

was sitting here and it was 2am then it was 1am. felt weird. I realized I have an hr to relive and could change how I lived this past hr. Was a weird feeling. Of course I did nothing BUT I could have ! Still have 15 mins to do something different. haha So I am going to get a drink of milk and say goodnight
