Granny's gone and done it again

I don't think i used the lid. Heck idk, i need to look at them. I think it was too hot with the lid and bulbs kept burning out.
I need to buy more straw for the hoop coop etc.
you have to use the lid to keep the water out. fire hazard . I wish I knew how long the dog bowl will last them. I dont want to fill every day.
The tins I start w/ a 40 watt bulb then when it gets really cold I have to swap it to a 60. and thats for a 3 1/2 gal. water.

I covered mine with sheet metal and a wooden frame. Worked all last winter. I want to run little christmas lights through all the quail cages. I wonder if hubby will have a fit. I already ran light to the hoop coop to try and get that Tolbunt hen laying again. She quit.

that sounds nice but I wont try because of the lightbulb situation
