Granny's gone and done it again

Getting colder out there! Got some tarps up on the runs since we are due for an ice storm and winter is on its way. Those 2 Tolbunt Polish pullets refuse to stay into the coop at night unless i put them in. Silly girls. And the one that is laying laid her egg outside today.

Stoopid chickens! I guess you'll have to heat the run since you know chickens need heat in the winter, right? :gig

Um, no. That coop i built has a lot of open areas on the front. No frostbite from excess humidity there.

I just took care of the chickens and guess what ? Tolbunt roo is injured. He is in the serama coop. Nicest coop I have. He is top of the food chain in there. I just checked him out then sat him down and walked away.
