Christmas is always at grandmas for the family.
But they are not welcome at our house. Family feud and all.

I would add it all up and tell her how much it will be , and you are not paying for it.

I don’t talk to her. I’ve only met her 3-4 times and it was at some family function. I told them when it was said that it’s not my thing. And they ignored me and started adding more things. They want me to sing... I don’t sing in front of others. They are off their rockers.
I’m getting burnt out on family functions again. I’ll end up skipping a few because of Christmas and then it’ll hit the fan.

Family war. Although I wouldn’t mind if they left me alone for 6-12 months+ with no contact. As far as I know the wife doesn’t work, so she could plan and do all this.

I rarely hear from my kids unless it is my birthday or Mothers Day. They have busy lives.

It’s all about control. I swear I’m tired of it. Both sides of the family are screwed up in one way or the other. And honestly both sides are ballsy.

If you don't feel up to it, just let them know. Tell them what you are willing to contribute and let them figure out the rest.
