I’ve got lights on the tree! Five strings, could’ve used five more. I like a bright tree but I hate seeing the cords. Then I decided to be Martha Stewart and make a wreath with the branches I trimmed!

DH bought candy canes and hot cocoa so we can decorate the tree when the kids get home.

They say , and I believe, the older you get the faster time goes. Christmas is no exception. I dont think I will put anything up except for Wishings boxes. I kept one out all year and I swear that seems like I took them down last week. LOL

As for time passing... today it's been unbelievably slow. I keep checking the clock, and yeah, have plenty of time to go for groceries before the lunch hr rush. Very unusual for me, since I usually get going so late... hey wait a minute... didn't the clock say 10:03 the last 4 times I checked?? Some days I feel good, some days I feel my age, and some days, like today, I feel like a dinosaur. Need the energizer bunny to bring me some batteries.

I got Robert off w/ his worker Tom is finishing up dinner and I am in pain. Story of my life.

Rain. All the rain. Power went out briefly but it’s back. Taking advantage of power and heating up lunch early.

Tomorrow brace yourself for all the posts. I’m gonna be stuck at home waiting for sdg&e to come out and assess/fix our drop. (While I was in Canada tree trimmers did an oopsie and caught the power lines. Did some damage...)

OH and they were back in the day and corrupt and just plain "not nice" I think we even ended up with a female pope and according to rumors she went into labor in public which is how they found out, SHE was disposed of in not a nice way and publicly as well. I think burning at the stake.
