Granny's gone and done it again

Is the house already designed/built? If not, good time to put the wood burner in a central location so the heat will spread in all directions. If a 2 story, the heat will go up the nearest stairwell before going sideways more. Houses in the pre central heat era most often had a single chimney in the center of the house, bigger houses sometimes had one on either end. One house we looked at when we were "shopping" 8 years ago had an older electric stove in the kitchen and a much older cast iron wood cookstove with a built in tank for hot water. Very neat. Of course there is a reason people had "summer kitchens" off the side of the house, last thing one needs in the summer is a big hot wood stove making dinner.

Yep, got to see most everyone I'm related to that isn't related to my wife.
Didn't take my camera.

Um, that means you have to live another 54 years before you get to 0 and flame out!

Other than the space the animals snag!

That first one doesn't sound bad. Goes downhill FAST after that.

Yak milk is a staple where they are native. No idea how easy or hard they are to milk.

We will be building it from a kit type thing. All the lumber is cut and marked, blueprints set. Etc...first he has to do the septic and water. The we will have to get the electric set

Wasn't really a fan of the side effects yhe further i went down the list.

you can keep 2 to 4 adult yaks on the same acreage as one regular sized cow. I have never milked mine. (no death wish here) Check out IYAK.org lots of great information. Yak meat is healthier for you then chicken breast. NO grain needed.
Maybe Curly Sue will be a milk Yak!

well I checked in , got errands run already, Got a few strange looks as I was walking through Menard's with 3 toilet seats in my hands. I should have a label stating Motel Owner.
I have seen a chicken coop with a toilet seat for the pop door!:gig
