I would like a broody breed, and maybe some bantams.

I really like the bantam cochins. They seem to have decent smarts. I’ve had maybe a third of the hens go broody.

My guess is that is a "blank" result. No posts, no likes, etc. Not even sure how it created the link since you don't get a user to select with less than 3 characters. Must be a coding error somewhere.

Our Meyer catalog came last week. They have shrunk the "footprint" to save money I'm sure. Noticed they now have only "broody" or "not broody", nothing in between.

I guess I should get some pictures up here and find out. They are close to laying or crowing, whatever they intend to do.

Generally crowing comes a LONG time before laying. If it is 4+ months old and hasn't crowed I'd bet on pullet.

I have 2 coops and 4 known roosters. And my home must be pretty sound proof because No, I dont hear them unless I open doors or windows

I decided to get rid of my Speckled Sussex and Buff Laced Polish. I would rather have birds from Murray McMurray. Those birds were from Hoover hatchery.

I like my all my birds from McMurray. May have to clear out the current birds and just go get the breeds I want from McMurray.

already have 3 wells on the place for all the animals. BUT the water comes out tea brown so not keen on piping it into the houses out there.
