Yes, there are drifts at least 2 feet high in the driveway. And our road doesn't get plowed by the county. So 1/4 mile of unplowed road.

sheets aint too deep, mattress is. 24 in sheets he needs and I found some for $45. on line.

No, #1 hijacked my computer.
You're missing the point about the grippers. A regular sheet would cover the top of his mattress, but wouldn't stay in place. If the grippers are long enough, they could reach around the sides of the mattress and hold the fitted sheet in place. It may show, but who cares... the blankets will cover it mostly.
Even better, get regular KING size sheets and use the grippers to tighten up the fitted sheets and hold them in place.

I always buy my personal sheets separately, queen fitted bottom and then king top sheets and coverings. Then I am not fighting for covers.

I am suffering as usual. Three weeks with a pinched nerve is a bit much. No end in sight. I have a week to wait for physical therapy. Hubby's back is bad, so i did a little shoveling today. Not helping , but have no one else to do it unless the neighbor comes down with his tractor. And our deck is full of snow. Have to take a shovel full , then another shovel full in the same spot since it is so deep.

I do that too when I can. The fitted sheets always wear out sooner.

good other then very tired. BUT having the fudge and carmels is a HUGE load off my mind. Most of our snow has melted off again.

Did dr say anything about resting your arm? Pinched nerve usually will not get better with constant use of the affected area. I think you are prolonging the problem.
