Granny's gone and done it again

Good evening everyone! Guess I missed the party... had myself a little nap earlier... sigh. Sleep cycle is all thrown off now. First world problem, right? :D

Thanks...lol it’s a Jello Question :lau
I was gifted a 1.5 lb bag of Lemmon Jello.
It’s something a bunch of us gal’s do every Christmas. We gift each other a ingredient to see who comes up with the best tasting dish. They got me Jello because I cannot bake to save my soul.
Anywho... I got a tub of Philly ready to eat cheesecake filling (I can make that I’m being lazy)
So I was wondering is there any tips on how to make a parfait? I know sometimes it’s the little things that make a dish turn out or not.
See...that’s pretty random.
Mmmm... I am a reluctant cook (to put it nicely), so can really only offer sympathy for being "forced" to cook! :D Whatever you end up with, let us know.
You did give me a good idea though... I'm going to make a jello cake like my grandma used to, but lemon instead of her orange. There are tons of recipes online, but this basically involves making a yellow cake mix (hush up, Twist) with granulated jello added in. Poke a bunch of holes in the top of the cake and pour on a simple lemon glaze. Everyone always loves it, even fussy people! :p

Im home. I am wore totally out. Good day for me. Great day for me I should say. went to the goodwill and right there in my face my mom sent me a present. Growing up she had 3 metal currier & ives plates she hung on the wall . She said it was a set of 4 but they were expensive and she never got the 4th one. I loved those things depicting 4 /3 seasons and today I was able to get all 4 for .99 cent each. Then I went to look for Tom some PJs and ended up running into a ton of shirts for myself. Very nice tshirts. Just what I needed and pretty too. We skipped wal mart and went to rural king for Roberts gun case and got a really nice one w/ storage/pockets on sale for $20.00 And I got a solar gazing globe on a stand for the back room. Tickled to death w/ it. I never buy for myself. Reg. $26.99 on sale for $14.99 . Found a nice plush purple throw for the house keeper for $3.98 and some tactile sunglasses , 2 pr. for $10.00 for Worker.
Come home and checked the mail. Christmas cards ! Pro, you win. LOL Very cute, Cap, Wishing, Thank you . they are precious . GROANNNN....
Wow. You did good today! Go mom!! :love

Porter's practically nekkid! Where's all his hair? Looks like he's ready for a day at the beach and not a ND winter.

oh wishing question for you.

Would Tibbit's son only be 1/4 related to the rest of Porter's heifer calves ?? as Tibbit's is 1/2 brother to all of Porter's calves. It would be a "generation" removed from all of the heifer's I am keeping
uhmmm... Tibbit's son would be Porter's grandson. You'd be breeding him to Porter's daughters who are aunties to Tibbits II. Nephew to aunt somehow seems worse than breeding cousins.

Tibbets II would only have 25% Porter genes if Tibbets bred one of the completely unrelated cows.

Then if T-II was bred to a related aunt (with 50% Porter genes), you'd get offspring with closer to 38% Porter genes (half from each parent). Chromosomes mix and recombine when sperm and egg cells are produced, so it can be more or less 38%.

Whats that girls name ? I am having one brain fart after another.
Did I tell yall I punched some guy in the goodwill today ?
Aw, you quit beating up on poor Tom!

The Ortho Dr. finally ordered an MRI!:clap
Hallelujah!!

Think you should make Jell-O shots.
:lau This from the teetotaler!

Good thing i went and collected eggs so they don't freeze! I got 50 of them!
Whoa! Lot of quail?
I am getting a few Serama eggs now that I have the heat lamp on for them all night. Only have one large hen laying... good old Spike!
