Years Alley. Probably add about 15-20 bags of shavings a yr. depending on the rain.

blue coop is 2.5 years old. Several bales of straw and whatever is in the coop goes into the run several times a year. The ground is actually getting below the boards.

peat moss is good and goes a long way. One bag but you will have to put shavings over it because it sticks to your feet .

I put a mix of that and sand under the coop for dust baths. Same problem
