Granny's gone and done it again

Yay my cozy throw for the class eh is set to show up today. (Go amazon. Your delivery elves are heroes)

Yes. I got a little throw blanket so I can curl up on the couch in the morning with a book and some tea. Cause dang it I can now be fancy like that. Mind. Blown.

Attempted to make braided loaves. First loaf got a lot over cooked. Tweaked the temp down to 350 (mom’s recipe she wrote down 400) and the second loaf ended up a bit better. Got distracted by the neighbors though and missed hearing the timer go off but still. Presentable. Gonna do some more today. Whee!
Sounds yummy

Make your own, it isn't hard ... unless you have a gluten intolerant person in the house. Ours gets dropped off at college on the 5th. I think there will be home made pizza again.

DD2 likes their Aloha bacon stuffed crust one. I don't do cured meats (migraine trigger) so I don't eat that one. Their hand tossed is my favorite crust that they make, not fond of "deep dish", too much bread. Nor do I like the thin cardboard crusts.

YEP! Not at all fond of #99 though ... don't try to change him ... not before the wedding.
BAD advice, don't marry someone who needs to be changed to suit YOU!

Won't happen here, they aren't a Christmas item, available year round at the grocery store.

Yeah but you didn't share the clutter side so those of us who live in squalor can feel a bit better!
Your kid goes to college in Canada ? Is that expensive?

good morning all, Well caught up and "almost" awake enough to get some stuff done.

Also was hoping to get the "care boxes of goodies" for the motel done today so I don't have to mess with it in the am and then Vickie can play santa and deliver them tomorrow. Need to get the jello salad done and then check on my desert recipe and see when I can/need to start on that one. Laundry and wrapping gifts as well. House is as decorated as it's going to get other then I still need to unpack the Nativity Set. Sort of looks like "Christmas" threw up in the living/dining room.
