hahaa! I think there is one baby pic of me! Just one. Middle child is typically the negotiator and peacemaker. Not bad skills to have. No parents are perfect, but mine were pretty good. We knew they would go to bat for us when it counted. We were mostly left to ourselves, unless we screwed up, and then got an ear full. Living on that old farm... huge barn, all the animals, and 30 acres to roam... I thought it was paradise. I was never bored. Got nothing to complain about.

When the teacher would pass out worksheets, they were slightly damp, printed in pale purple ink, and first thing every kid did was lean over and inhale the smell! haha... those copies were made on a mimeograph machine. I still wonder if kids were getting loopy from the smell.

Oh, ours was very modern... it was a plug in. You didn't have to crank it!
