Every October, we have Art Trails. Artists all over the county participate and open their studios to visitors for 2 weekends. It's really cool to see how they work. Sis and I went a couple years ago, and she saw a painting she really liked... almost bought it and kept thinking about it. She was going to contact the artist, but the fire came through that year and he lost everything. Hubs and I went to Maui for SIL's wedding, so I missed it this year.

Just those 3 were mentioned. I would love to see the shelters emptied but this is so wrong. I dont think anyone should have a say in what you sell. Forcing people to get pets that may not suit them. Most of my pets are rescued but they come w/ baggage. Its going to make the shelters rich.
Places like Petco will sell birds and reptiles and rodents, but rescues run the cat and dog adoptions. Rabbits aren't regulated that way.
how sad. I did an orangutan for my sister that got burned up in a fire. Made me sad !
so if you want full blooded you will have to go to a puppy mill ?
There are rabbits in shelters too. Usually spayed or neutered.
That’s what happened to jack’s. They used to sell puppies and kittens and just about anything else typical. Then it stopped and now it’s all adoption through shelters. Cats only now, no dogs. Of course Petland still sells puppies. $2300 for a mutt with bad knees.
