best way to describe yaks running is picture a very hairy Arabian Horse and the way they run.

only "bare" skin the yaks have is their noses and then the hind crotch area and that's on the inside and their tails cover the rectal region. Which they lift straight up in the air and then squat when doing number 1 or 2. OR if they all decide to tear off running and feeling foxey/frisky. Even Porter can get sucked into that the big lumbering thing that he is.

still dont mean she knows that is there to protect her. She is just having fun. Admittedly I dont know know how smart they are but if you think about it a duck will hold its head up in the rain til it drowns.

Yaks are MUCH smarter, and designed for this type of weather, actual cattle are like ducks in brains compared to yaks. At least from my experience and everything I have read and all yak people I have talked to.

maybe its chickens ? Mine did in the ice storm. I just told that story. I think cows are pretty dumb. Have to ask Camping or Alley. LOL I hate cows. Unless their on my plate. Their cute I guess but there just so gross !
