Granny's gone and done it again

Yes! I just heated myself a bowl of that soup and was thinking it would have been a lot quicker making it in an Instant Pot. Hubs likes cooking, and he likes gizmos, so a gizmo that cooks is a win-win!

Have you used the pressure cooker feature? I have always been leery of pressure cookers on the stove, but an electric one I think I could use.
What soup ? Ohh your potato. I was thinking of Campings soup today

Yes. I use it all the time. It cooks the oatmeal so fast. No open pot boiling up steam. It has a safety so it can’t explode. Yes your potatoe soup would be awesome. They come with a rack so I steamed some sweet potatoes. Very yummy. I also did some butternut squash very fast.

Hers looked good too, and I know hubs likes that kind.

Think I will get one. 6 qt or 8?

It is greatin the summer when it is hot out. No oven heat.
In the summer, we use the rice cooker and crock pot outside! I don't like having things cooking on the stove all day, so this sounds perfect. The sautee feature would be great for making my meat sauce for spaghetti.
