Granny's gone and done it again

Today I am being lazy. Was up until 1 am cause a friend's truck broke down and he had to get a ride out here to borrow our truck. Well, he ran me to town to get some cold meds for the boys. This saved me walking the 2 miles to DG today for cold meds. Although the daughter has drunk 2 1/2 gallons of milk since Thursday.

Tuesday he will take me to the doctor for my check up. Going to attempt to get to Gordon's Food Service or Restaurant Depot to get a 5-gallon bucket of lard and a 5-gallon bucket of coconut oil. So I can make some more soaps. Bob is supposed to get me a label printer for the soaps. I also need to order more EOs for the soap. I have a person requesting a scent I personally do not like. Not looking to have the same scents as everybody else. Would rather have simple and different than what I see everybody else selling.

Really need to get work done. Just don't have the motivation today. I did manage to make a batch of lemon soap last night. Hence the 1 A.M. bedtime. It smells so good. Even if it doesn't sell. The boys love my soaps. They tell me that they don't feel scratchy but not itchy scratchy. I think that is their way of saying dried out. I have noticed that my darling daughter's acne has cleaned up nicely. I had it horrid as a teen so I understand how she feels. I am thinking commercial soaps are too drying or irritating for us. The youngest picked out 2 soaps to take with him in the truck. Peppermint and chocolate and the plain unscented one I made. He even snuck a bar of the Daddy's Coffee soap. I used coffee in place of the water to make that batch and it smells like a cup of coffee.

See ^^^^ this is what happened when I am away from here too long. A long rambling post about absolutely nothing useful or helpful. lol

If you could make antibacterial soap that didn't dry skin and smells nice I would buy lots of it! Hubs had a bad episode with MRSA staph right before Thanksgiving that put him in the hospital for 6 days. Has to use antibacterial but it runs my skin!
