Have you had Wyandottes before? Mine were very grumpy and not great layers... small eggs too. Twist had the same issues with a larger number. Maybe McMurray has better stock.Oh sorry husband. They must have added packing peanut chickens....my six has become eight. Shh.

My Splash Andelusian was the last to start laying at 71/2 months. Flighty little"touch me not" until she popped that first squat. Now she's like a puppy that can't get enough love! Lays beautiful white eggs every day since the first one. Funny and sweet, I love that crazy bird.YES!Without the "or."

The Mediterranean birds are like that. I had a crazy Leghorn. She was great with people, but a terror with the rest of the mob. She would have benefited from a rooster... would have kept her from mounting the other hens.My Splash Andelusian was the last to start laying at 71/2 months. Depends on what it is. Back before I had working dishwashers I would do the bleach rinse on my cutting boards after dealing with raw chicken. (I don’t know why. Raw chicken has always been super ocd with me)
Pots and pans always get hand washed. Same with knives.
