I'm ready for both, hatching and a few hens......I have an old shed that I can turn into a coop, or just do a whole other coop. I'm so excited.....Hatching first. As you know the ground here is saturated and absolute slop and mud right now. I have to hold myself back....no chickens until I have a safe place for them haha. The storm that is coming is crazy...people are acting like they are going to freaking die. Are you kidding me? We are only getting 3 to 5 inches!! It's going to be in mid 30s for crying out loud. What the hell is wrong with these people

I haven't found eggs yet to try it out...I'm more southern than you, they are calling for 3 to 5 inches down here. I did see where you might get more of the ice
