It’s to get kids pumped up for whatever they are doing. We do red ribbon week and a Dr. Seuss week. The Dr. Seuss is based off his books. So we have a green eggs and ham day, wacky Wednesday and so on. The teachers here usually work with the theme for their lesson plans. Parents know about the week several weeks ahead of time so if kids want to participate there is time. It’s usually not anything crazy that people have to go out and buy.

Red ribbon week and dr Seuss week are cool, but like anything else they take it overboard.

I am busy falling apart. Going to need to see a Urologist.
It is about 40° and overcast here. The humidity makes it feel colder according to hubby. I have not been outside yet.

What are you the office slave.? If we wanted coffee we went in a made a pot.

Some days I feel like it. But no. If I don’t put the pot on they all go for the kureig. Which that coffee kinda sucks anyway so I like to just put on a big pot so I get my good stuff and there’s enough that we can all caffeinate up.

good morning all (if you insist) another crap night of sleep. Still worried about Porter , the guys are supposed to actually get close (relatively) and see if he is still drooling. Which is what I noticed on Monday. Rod tried a differ bale (as in different order/seller) and wondering about that BUT all the girls seem fine.

Was on my way to Lake Charles to get eggs and food for the group this weekend when I noticed the van was revving really hard to stay at speed, 61 on cruise control. Turned off cruise and was having to just slam the gas to make it go. Shaking bad, and temp gauge was getting close to straight up and down. I was closer to the shop than home, so I drove to the shop. Then DH picked me up, and I took him home then made it. Only an hour late.

Got 95% of the Christmas things organized and boxed. DH said he’ll put them in the attic.

70 and windy today. Supposed to be freezing again this weekend.
