4 hours of sleep. Didn’t load the bator last night. Marked and labeled all the eggs. Humane society is going to provide vetting for the stray dog, and are working on transport right now. I’m putting him in the empty side of the barn because it’s turning cold, but I can run heat if I need to. I’m so happy, he’s such a good boy.

I have 54 chicken and 54 duck eggs, all colors and breeds.

Good morning again. I was up early. came in here to read and Tom covered me up w. his throw. Last I remember til half hr ago.
Crazy dreams fading fast. diamond earrings found, a painted frog on my bed that I decided to keep as a pet. Mom and SF comes home and looking at me like its time for the funny farm but SF likes the frog too so its a keeper. Some one painted him to look like a beer can. Then I found a meat bird little and it became friends w/ the frog so they both had the run of the house. LOL
Let the dream experts rule on that one !

So much rain here and no shavings to put down. Tom fussed because I didnt get coffee filters last night. Well, wal mart dont sell brown filters. I wasnt going to Krogers after wal mart. I had to walk , no riding carts so we skipped a ton of isles. Robert was a huge help. I loaded my arms up bringing groceries in and I got in the door and groaned. Said I took too many. He dropped his, told me to drop mine. Took my smoke and threw it in the sink then sat me down and finished up on his own. He is taking this "take care of mom" thing serious. Not sure how I feel about that.

Oh there’s bully breed in there but he’s got a sweet pettable face. I hope they find a good home for him.

Bad news from the motherland. They’re starting to look at assisted end of life for my nana. (Yes it’s legal in Canada, yes there’s hoops to jump through to mitigate abuse of the system - gotta see three different doctors to agree to it etc)

Red is just hanging out in the brooder. She’s eating and pooping but...sigh. How much time do I give her to turn around? Do I try to give her another epsom salt soak?
