update for the early birds. I am seeing at least 6 inches of snow on the back porch. I am housebound for sure. No way I could drive out of here. Wind is calm for now. Im kinda scared we will lose electric. I dont think I could take it again.

Hope you are sleeping well Granny. No need to go out driving, wait until the plows have cleared the roads. We've got about 4" so far, another 8" is likely through today and tomorrow. Don't think I've heard the plow go through. Good thing the ski resort DD works at up her up for the night, Even if I cleared her out here she wouldn't necessarily be able to get to the main road unless people had already been running the road as the snow fell. Not sure I'm supposed to run the tractor up the public road clearing a path. In fact I'm pretty sure it is illegal for private plows to even put their blades down on a public road.
