his daughter (vet in training) mentioned something like that BUT their vet in TX claims socket/joint is to far gone for surgery to really help/make much difference.

He will probably have it put down then. I think I would. Knowing what that pain is like and the body gets used to the meds so quickly they stop working.

he was mentioning letting the pup be a pup and then when the "bad days" far out number the good , they will probably do the deed.
