Granny's gone and done it again

Im not sure how to answer this . He graduated top of his class. It was time to work under someone. IF we had lived in the city w/more work Maybe he would of done ok but he is terrified of heights and wont climb a ladder. Everyone here is not a company but rather people that start out on their own and build up a name for themselves.
You have to apprentice with a Master Electrician before you can be a licensed electrician.
Congrats to Robert for doing so well. That height thing could be a deal breaker for the profession though. Wires in attics, lights on ceilings. :(

Just doing some work in the beav trying to avoid folding/putting away laundry in the house.
The "beav"? AKA motor home?

Sunny outside and around 50°. My sinuses are awful. I am going to buy an air cleaner for my room. I swear i am allergic to something in this house.
We have 3. Well we did, DD1 took the one from her room to university.

I got Pamela Jean which I think is a pretty name.
Me too! You sister had good taste. You could have wound up like some of those rich and famous (idiot) people's kids.

nice healthy looking hens Bruce.

You got some gorgeous chickens Bruce :)

Nice! Your chickens are lovely. Thanks for posting your pics.

Thanks all. They do seem healthy, until they die ;) I've lost several to fatty liver disease. Looking great one minute, dead the next.

I just found another huge bone in my tuna.
DD2 always seems to get the salmon bone.

I am postive it is a Cream Legbar cockerel. Not SS or polish, and there are no other breeds here.
Hmmm, I thought they had crests.

Duck house, view from bridge.
Nice spot. So you want to fence an area that encloses the duck house and the pond up to where the water drains into it? Back to the "how deep is it" question. I'm guessing not real deep near the house since I see plants growing there. You could probably get a boat or raft and put some T posts in the pond, then run field fence on it down to near the bottom. I think ducks need a lot of "runway" to get off the water so the fence wouldn't have to be high.

The girls in the original coop are moulting hard,
Have you explained to them that task should have been completed a few months ago?

I worked for two hours with fun people, and I get to buy banty chickens. :highfive:
Hubby is a softie or REALLY didn't want to do that t2 hour job. Sounds like he is less averse to the banties than he let on originally.

I wonder if that news link is real ? I didnt know cats or chickens would send someone to jail for neglect resulting in death.
Animal cruelty is animal cruelty. That is a lot of dead chickens, not even buried. And it sounds like all the live animals in the house are in poor shape as well. Definitely need to get that lady away from animals.

 Did you actually just give me a compliment Bruce ?
Yes, under a master is where he needed to be but that was a few yrs ago. He claims to have forgotten most of what he learned. He also wasnt diagnosed w/ crohns or diabetes at that time. He does have coordination developmental disorder causing his calf muscles to not work correctly and may be what/why he feels afraid on a step.

I agree 100% but I bet she gets a slap on the wrist

No, I complemented your sister :gig
But I do think Pamela Jean has a nice ring to it. And when you are in trouble we can:
PAMELA JEAN HATCHET! You get your hiney in here RIGHT NOW!

Makes perfect sense.

Not sure about depth on that spot exactly, it’s the deepest part. Maybe 3ft? The water is high right now from all the rain. Over where the field drains in it’s very shallow. At times the dogs can go through without getting their bellies wet.

DH and I were super duper tired. Bubba had a game at 8 this morning. I was going to refuse working, but willing to do it for chickens. It’s not hard work, just sometimes you really don’t want to do something that is a normal part of your job. He doesn’t spend as much time with the kids as I do, so I’m glad he went. :love

When I lived in Mi. for 25 yrs I never heard of another person named Pam but as soon as I moved close to my home state they are all over the place ! Wow, your named Pam too ? LOL People must of thought me nuts.
We had five Debbies in a graduating class of 300, lol. My one and only grandchild was born on my 50th birthday. He is three :love
