I was up all night with my doomed shipped eggs. I put them in my hoverbator (I loved my old one and had several great hatches in it). I let the shipped eggs rest in cartons (in the incubator after 24 hours of rest) all the air cells were messed up, and the other ones got lost for a couple of days during single digit temps...I added that dang new style turner, the flat one. I was getting worried about them not being turned at all for three days, so anyway. As I was laying in bed, reading stuff on BYC, I heard this noise from the incubator......The motor on that new turner really makes the temp spike, so I thought I finally had that taken care of. I kept hearing thunking noises, got up and looked. It had thrown two of the EE eggs over to the side, and my gauge for temp/hum was under the turner! All the eggs were riding on a big hump and rolling around

That sucks, hope you get some to hatch!

Now I am gonna worry about them poor chickens. Cats out there have heat but I dont know how that will hold up with those kind of extremes . Seramas have one 250 light bulb. LF dont have anything.
