LOL nope been lots colder here before. I keep waiting for the actual temp to hit -40 so I can try the expirement where you throw a cup of hot water into the air and it explodes. Closest it's gotten is -38* while I was awake any way

Yes I did! They seem to be working fine and much easier than the gel caps. That fish oil is STINKY and it was a project getting it on his food without getting it all over me!

The sinus thing is most likelydamage as a result of virus. Not a big deal,but gross. The abcess needs lanced and drained and antibiotics. If you have any left over amoxicillin from one of y'all you can break it into quarters and give it to him. Also get him neutered. No more fighting.

I would try 1000 iu capsules squeezed on to her food twice a day krill oil or salmon. The omega -3 vitamin is what helps.But I'm not sure it would help for hair balls since they digest it pretty well. I give vaseline for hairballs cause it's not digested. It lubes the gi tract so the hair goes out the back exit instead of being puked out.

Thank you! That makes sense about not good for hairballs. Granny showed me some Whiskas treats that have petrolatum that are working great. I used to use Petromalt but can't find it anymore. Similar stuff I tried was more like syrup, and Henry smeared it ALL OVER the bathroom.

I need to get nugget neutered. I am going to make his appt. this week . Maybe tomorrow. I hate that white cat outside and dont want to spend any $ on it. Dont get me wrong, I dont want to see it suffer. I could treat it myself but I wont w/o something for pain.
