What did you tell them ? I think he will be the best dog you ever had. He has had time to get out and kill chickens if he wanted to and he stayed right where you put him.

They closed the po today. No mail due to cold. No school , nada. everything closed. I think thats a good thing.

He would be on a long lead for quite a while ideally, and you carefully observing his reaction to livestock. Any kind of instinctive movements toward the animals to be corrected strongly. Also have him on a lead and get the kids to run,yell,wrestle etc. To check his reaction in a controlled setting.

sigh, must of scared everyone off again. Bandit came and rested his muzzle on the arm of Toms chair staring a hole through him. Tom looks at him, looks at me and says, " He looks homeless". LOL He really does. He needs a bath and hair cut.

I told them no. We just can’t have a pit bull on the property, no matter how loudly I call him a cur. DH was against it. I know he’d be a great dog, but we can’t have another pup inside and we can’t keep him outside. I’m going to share him on fb to try and get a foster, at least. And now I’m going to drive to town so I can cry and DH won’t see it.

I really, really hate saying no.
