Finished product. I got the coffee heater for $2 at Goodwill. Scrap wood used, and metal i already had.

so the metal sheet on top warms up and you set the water there ?

I went to bed early, but not that early. However , i got up at 7 am.

enough stress to give me a headache but probably dehydrated. LOL
