I agree, science and social studies are no longer a priority in elementary. There are so many things that should be and could be, but unfortunately, we have to teach what is expected with no time to spare. Things have changed sooooo much in education today. If I didn’t have 6 years to retire, then I would seriously consider working in a vet clinic or somewhere else working with animals! I love my job, don’t get me wrong, and I love my kiddos! BUT........
