Cap, everytime I see your ava I start to craving some hot chocolate and I dont have any here. I seen a recipe where you can make that powdered stuff like you buy in packages w/ powdered milk , coco, salt and ??? then you can add warm milk or water to it and have it whenever you want !

I have a recipe like that uses coco powder and creamer and I forget if it's granulated sugar or confectioner's sugar

I bought packages of it for when the grand kids were here, but lots left over. Lots of sugar in it so i don't drink it often.

ohh thats the thing I forgot. it was confectioners sugar.

ok here we go and its and OLD recipe as I don't think they make cremora any more. BUT coffee mate works the cheap brands don't in my opinion

1 cup cremora
1 cup nonfat dry milk
3/4 to 1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa

In a medium bowl combine ingredients and mix well. Store in an air-tight container. To serve spoon 3 heaping TABLEspoons of mix into a mug and add about 3/4 cup of boiling water.

I was watching homestead rescue and thinking about fire safety. We really need to clean up the leaves and sticks and brush around the house and barns. It is wet now, but it will dry out. I noticed when i was planting daffodils there is a thick layer of leaves down. When you have 13 acres and a lot of animals, raking leaves is not high on your list of stuff to get done.
