Very cool!

Can’t remember if I posted the other day... Josie will wait her turn to eat. Jewel eats half the bowl, then lets Josie have the rest. We were free-feeding but Josie started looking too heavy, so now we just fill the bowl in the evening. They worked this system out on their own. :love

Also got a pic of the chicks. They’re doing great. Lots of roos in there. If I can get 10-15 pullets, that would be perfect.

Ugh. Having issues with neighbors on the other side of they with the eight dogs now. They have two purse dogs - little chihuahua mixes who are entirely too enthralled with our chickens. Hubs caught me trying to get into the coop. Went to go talk to neighbors but no answer. Great. He ended up chasing dogs back into their yard and closing the gate they leave open (and tossing a bunch of their crap they just leave in the back field there too) but yeah. Drive me bonkers. Just cause your dog is tiny doesn’t mean you can let it run amok. How many times have I almost run the danged things over cause they’re out in the road too.

Edit. If my boys had their spurs I’d almost say let them try...but they don’t yet.

Is there laws on how many dogs are allowed ?
Apparently six so our neighbor directly next to us is in violation but he’s not the issue this time. It’s the people on the other side of him and their two dogs. Honestly if they disappeared we could easily blame it on the coyotes.
