How do you cook a rutabaga?

I cut mine up in cubes and boil it.

Four and a half hours with the power out, but the inverter worked well. I helped a chick out of the shell, it was shrink wrapped. The one i tried to help before that was dead in shell. I hate to intervene unless it is clear they are truly stuck.

Got chicks hatching and the quail decided to start hatching tonight. Back still hurting. Spent today sleeping on and off. Played some video games. Not much else I can do until the back stops spasming.
