I have some silkie eggs in the bator. I was coerced into takin*them. My friend doesn’t collect for a few days then gets eggs and they all having something growing. Her bator was full so she talked me into it.

I can’t remeber what is different about silkie eggs when you hatch them. More humidity or less. They don’t fit in my turner so I am doing the lazy man scramble.

I just hatched some silkies with LF EEs. I also used to hatch bantum orps the same as the large orps, they do great. I don't change anything.

Well. Crackheads have moved their rv and now I’m parked close to them at work (now that the bosses are set to return today there’s no more parking big Bessie up front) great.

more silkies I would take them when they hatch if I could! More humidity while incubating and same as others while hatching. But they could hatch early.

more silkies I would take them when they hatch if I could! More humidity while incubating and same as others while hatching. But they could hatch early.

I wish there was some way to get them to you. I did a dry hatch because it was so wet here but my humidity is running 20 percent. But then again I haven’t calibrated it so who knows. Can you tell I really don’t care if they hatch or not. I mentioned getting some silkie eggs from her for an Easter hatch and she is gave me these. She can’t stand to just let them die. Her silkies are not very good mothers so she doesn’t want to let them hatc them. Lol, I don’t think I am a good mother either. I am having problems in my rooster pen and I am going to have to take some boys to auction on Friday. They have spring fever and they have started beating up on the lowest two.
