Granny's gone and done it again

It is chilly and damp today. It is a truly miserable day really. No sun just cloudy grey. We were trying to get more fence done, but the batteries I told them to charge they charged one out of 5 batteries for the reciprocating saw, impact driver and the angel grinder. Yeah one battery shifting between the three lasted 3 hours.
We are inside. Boys cleaning, I am going to play some video games and warm up. Chill outside has set into my legs and feet. SO warm bed for me with a hot cup of tea. Boys are now going to make sure all the batteries are fully charged for tomorrow. Or they are going to be doing everything manually.
Looks like we have the same ugly, chilling weather.

I need to get up to the barn to get more chick starter for the chicks in my bathroom. And the last silkie roo needs to go back in the spot he was so he can get food and water. The dang rain refuses to let up. I may have to get out boots and rain coat.
I did find the last fabric i should need for the wedding quilt and my stencil came today.

It’s complimentary, at the dining hall. So yes? It’s been a long morning and my brain is mushy.

Very interesting! That cross was actually donated to us by the nonreligious brother of a baptist friend. The brother saw it at a charity auction and bought it for us. He’s never even visited here. :love But he donates to us pretty often. He’s got a good heart.
I really like that piece.

Hi all, Got my running around done easy and thought we would hit the flea market up. Found a booth w/ 90% off everything and picked this bad boy up for .3 cent. Its tin and will go w/ my other decorations . :idunno
Ya, what a day. Tom decided he needed to cut loose at the store. OH NO ! He went to the bathroom and I was out waiting for him. He comes out and says come look at this. :hit But its the mens room Tom! Sigh, found a sign that said closed for cleaning and put it in the door way and in I went. It was black and the bowl was full. No way I could check for a camera. Now he is worried . He really needed to see that thing gone . Employee didnt know what to say when she seen me coming out and I didnt either so I smiled and went on my way.
FF to DQ. :drool I am parked, got the window down and enjoying my hot fudge . Its 42 out I looked at Tom and looked like he was seizing ! Tom what is it ? Whats wrong? He looks up at me w/ that toothless grin and ice cream dripping down his chin and said, Im cold ! LOL OMG Sorry. window up , heat on.
Although we only made it one isle up and one back I really enjoyed my day w/ him.
That smile helped take the pain away from me.

Wish I had took pics before I did some cleaning . food in the sink, crap hanging out the garbage can. Counters full of hair and ??
I agree, that looks like the BEFORE picture, not the AFTER. Even DD2 does a better job than that and she'll do the ABSOLUTE bare minimum she can get away with.

well evidently the shut off valve supplying water to the toilet needs to be replaced (dripping) and while I am at it I will replace the supply hose from the valve to the toilet as well.
Last one I did I thought the valve was bad so I replaced it. Then I had to get a longer hose because once the new valve was tight, the connector was 90° off and away from the toilet. Still dripping, turned out the pipe nipple had three REALLLLLLLY tiny holes in it. Only been there 25 years and when it was new the water pressure was something like 25 PSI. The neighborhood put in some underground tanks and pumps 15 or so years ago, pressure now like 60 or 70 PSI. Probably a manufacturing defect that just took time to show up with the higher pressure.

yes other then my wallet/check book REALLY got a whupping today. About 6 grand.
Ouch!!!

OMG the "LOOK" she gives Colin when her buzzes her. :gig:lau
I saw that a few weeks ago, he wasn't buzzing when they finished. That lady would be good if she were 40 but she's 80 something!

Historically, it happens every 15 yrs.
Yeah but it won't happen to "me".
Can't fix stupid.
