They are born w/ it in their hand and they die w/ it in their hands. Remember mom telling me men think w/ that thing and when its dead they are brain dead.

That's a little harsh... there are a lot of good men out there. Maybe she picked the wrong ones? Self-fulfilling prophecy?

Mom hated men . She had a harsh life and we had nothing to learn from her or the men in her life. It took me years to figure that out.

Speaking of, I guess the ol man aint coming back tonight . Too bad. I was all ready to pick on him and everything.

When #1 was 4, he was obsessed with guns. I got him a space blaster and he loved it. Made him braver to watch the scary stuff on tv (like Thomas the Tank Engine and a floating balloon with a face on it in Clifford the Big Red Dog... poor boy was terrified of disembodied faces!) Anyway, most of the other moms at the preschool he went to were fanatically anti gun in any form, so I asked the teacher about it. Was I a terrible mom for letting my kid have a toy gun? We had bb guns and cap guns when I was a kid, and I'm not a homicidal maniac. Anyway, this teacher... I thought she was great... she said that it was fine. Boys will find a way to make a one anyway... toast gun, stick gun... After all, she said, they are BORN with one!

LOL funny lady. I grew up different then you , more like Kelly was talking about her guns except we just had a shot gun. It was propped up in the corner loaded and we wasnt dumb enough to try and play w/ it. We knew better !

Im not sure if I found a good one or I came to realize everything I was ever taught about men was a lie. I bet there were plenty of good men in my life. I just never knew it.

Thanks for posting that story, wishing, how stupid people are. Tracy is right here by me. I have a bad feeling this is go8ng to get really bad.what is wrong with people. Only thing I can think of is the6 don speak English and haven’t seen all the reports. What ? All their chickens died and you don’t realize there is a problem.

I grew up with them too. My dad was away for days at a time, and the nearest neighbor was not near at all. My mom was worried someone would break in to steal the guns if they knew, so it was drilled into us never to speak of it, and that has stayed with me.
