I am afraid there are too many people moving chickens. Esp the cock fighting crowd. They are still having the poultry auction in escalon.

There are so many people still moving chickens. The only way I know of this thing is cause I am on so many poultry groups. Gosh my neighbor was asking me about how he would introduce new flock members right now...ugh. I told him might not be wise with this stuff going on right now and explained to him quarantine requirements if he did insist on it.

Happy belated birthday bubba!!! Sigh. Should get up and release the cluckens. We have to deliver the forklift (hubs sold it) today - I think hubs was hoping I’d let him spend that money on his truck. Nope. I’m taking it til his work reimburses his travel expenses!! I’m not paying interest on his credit card cause they can’t be bothered to reimburse in a timely manner!!

And then the rest is vehicle payments. Cause uh. Beav payment comes out the day before payday. This is why I hate autopay - but doing autopay knocked the interest rate down so dangit.

Mornings, OMG Pert, too funny !

Probably an unanswerable question. It is for me anyway but if my temps here are dropping at night to the upper 20s and daytime highs are in the upper 40s to lower 50s Will the chickens water be ok w/o heat ? maybe freeze a little at night but thaw early in the day ?
