Granny's gone and done it again

I’m a bit worried about Lady being alone. But she’s being really quiet. She’s bouncy and loves seeing us, but when I go to check on her she’s curled up alone in the stall. Maybe she’s used to it?

I want to go back next week and get a second one. They just do better together.

Will she be warm enough?

They’re out on pasture. DH wants to move her out pretty quickly. Like chickens, I think it goes better with a group. Last year we got SirLoin, then a week later we picked up Ranger. There were lots of mamas and calves today, some allegedly born at the sale barn, so I want to check back next week to see if anyone is keeping the cows and dumping off the babies.

Lady has saved Sir’s life, because they will make precious little babies. We’ll still be eating Ranger next year.

Does anyone know why my stupid dog bites me when I come home ? He dont try to chomp down and today he got my shirt sleeve but he is super excited and jumps high and puts his mouth on me.

Because he isn’t getting any attention , or exercise, or training. Get a clicker and some treats and clicker train him. They have videos on you tube. That dog needs a job.

Have someone put him on a leash and correct him when he carries on when you come in the door. You can practise without going anywhere.
