DIL has not had the kids vaccinated and doesn't send them to school.
"Measles Cases in 2019. From January 1 to April 26, 2019, 704** individual cases of measles have been confirmed in 22 states. This is an increase of 78 cases from the previous week. This is the greatest number of cases reported in the U.S. since 1994 and since measles was declared eliminated in 2000."

so your dd is counting on "responsible parents" to ensure there isn't an epidemic :he look what is happening in Calif at the moment with measles
:thumbsup

I had chicken pox when I was 25. It was horrible.
I understand they can kill an adult.

Did hubs let you keep them?

the only part of the anti vax crowd I agree with is a small group that agree with vaccination but they want to spread out the shots. They are afraid of side effects from having multiple shots all at once. I have no problem if they want to spread it out over a time frame like a month or two so it's not like 20 shots in one sitting.
:goodpost:

OH and Angie was in a good mood today.
Um, is she mostly NOT in a good mood? Sounds like no fun to be around.

Granny, That's the cause of the problem & she got mad at me when I told them I had something for them tomorrow .when I go to feed my animals, I'm not coming back here til Tuesday morning .DD doesn't work on sunday & Monday, but gd's will have to stay home Saturday night. Oh well, mind me next time.
Seems like there sure is a lot of entitlement there. We, your daughter and grand children, are entitled to do what we feel like and you will take care of the little one.

may I ask how many here have heard of that name?
Not me.

I like the name Gene! Verner sounds like an anglicized version of a German name. In German it would start with a W.
I think W4W has something there Werner is a common German name.

Indiana University has mandated (at least most if not all) students to be immunized, and had almost 40 students come down with measles. classes have just let out for the summer, so more may have been infected but not come down with symptoms yet.

and the up rider thing my dad was in a hospital in a nursing home wing after joint replacement surgery in 95 and they had a version of that and we wondered why you didn't see a home model because it was the therapist's preferred walker on some patients because of how it was made. of course they didn't use it on everybody just some here or there what needed a different walker support.

I got some more mowing done. The down side of spring: the grass is growing really fast, there is some sort of nest in the barn made like a tunnel, there is a kitten in there eating all my cats food and they are standing back and letting it and there is a little running around on the floor of the serama coop. I put a waterer out there for it. The adults seem to be ignoring it , not being mean to it and far as I can tell it has about 3 mamas.
Oh, and I got a fairy egg shaped like a teardrop.
