I used to have a ton of strawberrys. I made a raised bed for them. I dont what I did w/ them but their gone.
Thanks h2o. I took fresh new growth stems from the original rose bush and dipped the bottom end into rooting compound then stuck it into some potting soil. There's a little more to it, overall length and best place to trim at an angle... would have to look it up again to remember the specifics. Most of them grew, which is why I have 5 different starts! My dad has not been caring for the original bush and it looks bad. I'm going to try to save it, but glad I have the starts.Morning!
Wishing. You had some nice gifts. ESp the roses from your moms. ARE THEY EASY start in water?
The bed I had them in I took pretty good care of. Dont remember any weeds. I think I moved them .did they get choked out by weeds ??
that can happen
Pretty rose. My GM stuck them in the dirt, cut the flower off and put a mason jar over it.Thanks h2o. Not the prettiest rose in the world, but I like the color variation... from yellow to pink and all the peaches in between. (not my picture)

you too TTYLwell think I will go and finish getting equipment ready to do something outside.
You ladies enjoy yourselves.
I love corgis! Big dog personality in a small dog. They shed like an Akita, though. One day, a few hairs here and there, next POOOF, snowdrifts of fur all over, and it goes on for weeks!I am still searching for the right pup. Saw a cute corgi, but hubby doesn't like them.
Is Yuki a Legbar? This last nest was the third one, now that I think about it. First one only had 1 egg when I found it under the Douglas firs, second was under the redwood and had about 12-13 eggs. I need to do some spying on them. Not even sure which one has the privacy issue. If they are like Yuki when she started laying out 3 years ago, finding a nest means "I'll make another somewhere else".
Well, I jinxed myself yesterday by saying we won't see rain until October. Forecast last night said rain this week!! Lots! In May? Unheard of!!colder here. I think the high supposed to be 66
That sounds like cooking. Delicious! I'm not a fan of pork unless it has been soaking in some good marinade like that. (bacon excepted, as always)Them pork chops had a good flavor. I used tangerines, brown sugar, fresh garlic, teriyaki marinade and salt.
