Granny's gone and done it again

Oh I forgot to mention that one of the two remaining hen ducks has finally decided to go broody. Since we haven't collected any eggs since they started laying I have no idea how many. But the hens seems to know which one's to kick out of the nest as time progresses.

mine turn a year this summer and not the first egg from them. I have 2 hens but no boys anymore

Me too. I’m keeping those for now. The 4 broodies can fight over them.

I would think they should be laying by now. Mine hatched (first batch) middle to end of sept and were laying the following May or so.

Would have to be a smallish one then . I might have just the "girl" in mind.

that’s what I thought. It has been kinda chilly here. Who knows with those 2.

Oh and Gold Mein has a white patch between her lower belly and her back legs to go with the white on her head and hind feet.
