Hi Wishing, No one asked about the car today.

Most goats have 2 teats. It is considered a fault to have more. Most breeders supplement feed if there are three or more kids. It makes the babies super tame.

We took Margie (lamancha) to the sale barn today. We got close to what we paid for her. She wouldn’t stay in the pens, and when she got out she ate all my roses. If we had a real goat program we could’ve kept her, but for the summer camp farm she wasn’t a good fit.

But we picked up a calf. In the sale sheet it said he’s weak, but he doesn’t look bad to me.

I kept her. She stayed in the goat coop even when the door was wide open.

No keeping one goat, they are herd animals. A lot of goat breeders won't sell a single goat unless you already have one at least.

Some Nigerians routinely have 4 or 5 kids! Most one of my goats had was 3.
