LOL Cant blame her for protecting her pups. I wouldnt want her in there. They dont try to lick the wounds ? Are they wrapped up?

She stresses out more being separated from the pups, there is very little blood usually and the pup's are more indiginent about loosing a dinner plate then their dew claws and parts of their tails.

Told Tom today My Nancy wants bandit when she moves to the country and he got all excited . I said just because she wants him dont mean she is getting him ! He got all frowny and said but, he is such a PITA . I said well, you are too sometimes but I aint throwing you to the curb.

I came upstairs and found a baby Turkey hatched and another stuck. So I helped it a bit. Glad the former curly toed guy has a buddy now.
No action on the quail eggs, I think they are a lost cause.
