Figgy actually looks good . Is her stomach swollen ? She is a pretty hen. Not a production layer right ?

uhm, she doesn't have a stomach. Her crop is good. Like I said earlier, her backside below her vent and down between her legs feels wrong... like a full diaper.

Figgy was from a breeder... jubilee project. I thought there was something wrong with her legs, mites or ticks or something in small patches on both of her ankles... turns out little feathers poking out from under the scales. Emphasis on PROJECT.
I might turn her out to rejoin the mob tomorrow. See how her poo looks in the morning.

And in her place, I think I will put the wheaten Ameraucana. Caught Dash with egg on her face today. Literally. She's the one been eating eggs. Change the hospital pen into a prison. Bad chicken!

I know they dont have stomachs. I dont know what that area is called . Also knew she was a project bird but I thought that meant like a mix of 2 and you might know what she was mixed with. I hope she isnt internally laying but thats what I suspect. Im not an educator though and dont know much. Im glad she is better.

Bandit has a rats tail now. She didnt leave a hair on him anywhere except for the one foot she skipped for some reason.
