I dont know whats worse, Having a dog that sheds or tangles.
Cap, dont your GS shed year round ?

She usually sheds some, but then she has times like the last couple of weeks when she blows coat. I comb her every night when I pick off the ticks. She does not shed as bad as my parent's lab did.

No, that's the other Fort Bragg, military base somewhere on the east coast. North Carolina? This is just a small coastal town in Mendocino county. Takes about 2 1/2 hrs to drive up there.

yep straddling the raised bed and tilling can be tiring. and then raking everything level.

and basically just FRESH AIR poops me out. at least this time of year.

the "nice" thing about longer haired dogs that shed is at least the hair basically just lays there instead of working its way into fabric and such.

yep but its only 20 or 25 pounds a little electric Troy Built tiller.

Star is a good dog to cut but last time I did I cut a big hunk of skin off her belly. I wont do it again.

Maybe he wanted his own line. Maybe he was trying to make improvements. It's a project! He's a breeder. It's what he does. Figgy was left over because she didn't fit the bill. He had red Orps too. Beautiful birds. Lots of other Orps as well.
