I think Springers look great clipped short on top, but the feathers and skirt left long. I used to have some that came to see me regularly. Love their personalities. Not nasty like so many Cockers.the "nice" thing about longer haired dogs that shed is at least the hair basically just lays there instead of working its way into fabric and such.
ohh papas poultry. Gotcha .Maybe he wanted his own line. Maybe he was trying to make improvements. It's a project! He's a breeder. It's what he does. Figgy was left over because she didn't fit the bill. He had red Orps too. Beautiful birds. Lots of other Orps as well.

That is why groomers just clip it close when it is matted. Scissors can be dangerous.clippers but that was a knot and scissors

I've met some lovely cockers. Sweetest things, but then again, I wasn't trying to clip them. Granny's Star is a Cocker. I almost dognapped her, so sweet.I think Springers look great clipped short on top, but the feathers and skirt left long. I used to have some that came to see me regularly. Love their personalities.
